Valdor
God of War & Conquest
Before kingdoms rose, before laws were written, before men knew how to build cities — there was war. And where there was war, there was Valdor. Said to have been born from the clash of two gods who fought to the death, his very existence gave rise to the concept of combat itself.
Valdor taught mortals how to wield weapons, how to fight, and how to claim what is theirs through strength alone. His roar shook the mountains and his blade carved rivers of blood into the land. To some he is a protector, ensuring warriors never grow weak. To others he is the reason war never ends. When Malrik's rebellion shattered the peace of the gods, Valdor did not hesitate — he marched into war, personally fighting Malrik's abyssal generals in battles that shook the heavens. It was Valdor who held the line while Solmara and the other gods sealed Malrik away. Yet despite victory, he felt betrayed — he believed Malrik should have been slain, not imprisoned, and viewed the gods' decision as cowardice. After the war, Valdor turned his back on the divine pantheon. His followers honor him on the battlefield, in duels, and through conquest. The Crimson Colosseum hosts gladiatorial combat in his name, the Warborn Halls serve as sacred war camps, and the Eternal Battlefield remains a cursed land where an ancient war never ended and spirits of fallen warriors still fight. Valdor does not care for loyalty — he respects only strength. Those who grow weak lose his favor, while those who rise through combat become his chosen. As the Eclipse Prophecy unfolds, one thing is certain — Valdor does not fear war. He is war.
